Hon. Kevin J. Casutto, Administrative Law Judge for the Public Service Commission ordered a change in date for the next status conference. The next status conference between the active parties and the judge is scheduled for October 13, 2010.

Upstate Power is holding public informational meetings intended to explain the on-going revisions to the Article VII Alternatives Analysis. These meetings will inform communities that could be potentially affected by amendments to the Article VII application. In addition to explaining the alternative analysis, Upstate Power is seeking community input regarding issues of local concern. Comments/feedback will be considered before making final decisions on evaluating alternatives in future steps in the Article VII process.

Details regarding the alternative route location evaluation will be posted on the Upstate Powers website (www.upstatenypower.com) when available. Details regarding upcoming meetings will also be available on the website. Documents filed with the Public Service Commission regarding the Project can be found on the Department’s website (www.dps.state.ny.us). Copies of the application are available at local libraries and town offices.

Article VII proceeding- Hon. Kevin J. Casutto, Administrative Law Judge for the Public Service Commission, granted Upstate's recent motion seeking a suspension of the litigation schedule in order to provide Upstate additional time to supplement the alternatives analysis in Upstate's Article VII application. The next scheduled status conference between the parties and the Judge is scheduled for September 15, 2010.
